Fall or spring, Texas High rules the roost in District 13-4A tennis.

John Watson’s Tigers wrapped up their sixth league team title Tuesday with another dominant victory, this one a 19-0 dismantling of Marshall at the Tiger courts.

Not only did the visiting Mavericks fail to win a set, they won only 17 games, six of those coming in the only pro set of the day. Texas High’s boys lost only four games.

Texas High, 18-3 overall, hosts 4A power Lindale in its next match Saturday, Oct. 25.
