DIERKS, Ark.—The 7-2A football title might be decided Friday when Dierks travels to Mount Ida to face the defending Class 2A state champions.

“But that’s only if Mount Ida wins,” Dierks coach David Bennett said. “If we win, we’ve still got to play Mineral Springs. It could be a three-way tie.”

One of Bennett’s biggest concerns going into this showdown is his team’s health.
