MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—It didn’t take long for Mount Pleasant to learn that there was to be no Texas High letdown from last week’s decisive win over Sulphur Springs.

The game was close for only the first quarter, but the Tigers blitzed the hosts for 34 points in the second en route to a 50-21 cakewalk over MP Friday night at Sam Parker Field.
