Russ Nelson keeps rolling along.

The 40-year-old, former Arkansas High runner, easily captured his third title in the annual Susan G. Komen 5K race Saturday morning with a time of 17 minutes, 10 seconds.

Nelson took the lead about a half-mile into the 3.1-mile race and was never challenged, winning by almost two minutes over the second-place finisher.

Brad Meeks, 20, who last ran cross country for Pleasant Grove High School two years ago, was second in a time of 19.08. Jacob Dawson, 15, was third at 20.08.
