It’s already been a terrific year for Robert Hines and the 24-year-old fisherman from Little Rock hopes to add to his accomplishments by winning the 35th annual Mr. Bass of Arkansas championship.

Hines brought in a limit of five bass Friday at Lake Wright Patman, weighing 13.45 pounds to take the first-day lead. The tournament concludes Sunday with the final weigh-in at Piney Point.
