Texas High did its part. Now the Lady Tigers hope they can get a little help from Hallsville.

Host Texas High defeated Marshall, 25-22, 25-19, 25-18, Friday, pushing the Tigers’ District 13-4A record to 6-6 and into fourth place.

The Lady Mavericks are 5-6 in district with one game left against Hallsville. If Hallsville wins, then Texas High goes to the state playoffs as the fourth-place team. But if Marshall wins, then the Tigers and Mavericks would have a one-game playoff to decide the district’s final playoff spot.
