NEW BOSTON, Texas—New Boston scored 13 points in the final quarter and held off the Atlanta Rabbs, 13-7, Friday night in District 16-3A play.

The Lions (7-1, 2-1) got two rushing touchdowns in the final quarter. Cedric Wade scored on a 9-yard run for the game’s first score with 10:04 left to play in the game.

Wade added a 78-yard touchdown dash with just two minutes later to give New Boston a 13-0 advantage.

Wade finished the contest with 169 yards on 21 carries.
