HORATIO, Ark.—Sam Cowling rushed for 161 yards on 23 attempts and finished with four touchdowns, three rushing, to pace Horatio past Spring Hill Friday night, 35-24.

Cowling scored two touchdowns in the opening quarter on runs of 4 and 3 yards. Cowling kicked an extra point and ran in a 2-point conversion, staking the Lions to an early lead, 15-0.
