Anyone in the market for a new Ranger Boat?

Sheridan native Chad Kirkpatrick announced seconds after being crowned amateur winner of the 2008 Mr. Bass Classic that his first place prize valued at $34,900 was for sale.

Other than that comment the 32-year-old construction worker was pretty tight-lipped about his success on Lake Wright Patman.

Tournament Director Ronnie Everett asked Kirkpatrick how he caught his fish and got no answer. Kirkpatrick said he would answer that question Sunday if assured the tournament would not be coming back to Patman.
