LINDEN, Texas—Linden-Kildare and Hughes Springs will have a one-game volleyball playoff to decide the third seed from District 17-2A at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Jefferson.

The Lady Tigers defeated Daingerfield Friday to force the playoff, 25-19, 25-18, 25-21.

Ashleigh Richardson served 11 points and had 7 kills, and Ashley Eaves contributed 7 points and 9 kills to lead L-K.

Linden-Kildare and Hughes Springs split their regular-season contests, and both squads finished with 8-4 records in district play.
