Local, Area Sports: Warriors take cross country titles

ACORN, Ark.—Trinity Christian’s boys and girls won the Southwest District cross country meet Monday.

Alex Haynes completed the 5K course first in the senior girls division with a time of 20:17. Sami Otwell posted a time of 22:33, earning her 5th. Julia Wagner had a time of 22:36, and Summer Asfour had a time of 22:40 to finish 6th and seventh, respectively. Maddie Johnson took 20th place (24:18), and Alisha Spillers claimed 36th (26:53).
