Fifth-game errors halt march to championship

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark.—Arkansas High once again fell one step short of its goal as the Lady Backs tumbled in the 6A state volleyball semifinals to Jonesboro, 25-20, 17-25, 25-17, 20-25, 15-10.

The Hurricane advance to Saturday night’s championship match against defending champion Lake Hamilton, which eliminated Benton in Thursday’s other semifinal.
