Texas High and New Boston have set up their opening-round UIL state volleyball playoff matches.

The Lady Tigers (17-18) were fourth in District 13-4A and will face Whitehouse in the bi-district round. That match is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Pleasant High School.

The Lady Lions (18-13) were third in District 16-3A, in which all playoff teams get a first-round bye, and face District 14 champion Eustace at 5 p.m. Nov. 8 at Gladewater High School.
