City Volleyball: Lady Hawks win warmup game

PATTONVILLE, Texas—Pleasant Grove improved to 31-10 Monday by defeating Prairiland in a playoff warmup match 25-19, 25-18, 25-20.

The Lady Hawks open the playoffs against the winner of tonight’s bi-district match between Wills Point and Princeton.

Sarah Ramsey led PG’s attack Monday with 10 points, 21 assists, 16 digs and 2 kills. Haley Cox had 11 kills, 4 blocks and 7 digs. Carly Coopwood contributed 5 points, 15 assists and 10 digs. Claire Northam had 7 kills, 5 digs and 5 blocks, while Brittney Rice added 5 points, 5 kills and 5 blocks.
