MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—Texas High enters the postseason for the second time under fifth-year coach Melissa Hardy.

The Lady Tigers, who went 6-6 to finish fourth in District 13-4A, will likely have their paws full against District 14 champion Whitehouse (30-6 season, 10-0 district). THS comes in with a 17-18 record.

“I felt bad after losing to Longview (in the second half of district) because we lost some key matches down the stretch that we shouldn’t have,” Hardy said. “We just didn’t play very consistent at times.”
