ORE CITY, Texas—Hughes Springs’ first playoff appearance in 10 years lasted just one game as the Lady Mustangs were swept Monday night by Big Sandy Harmony in a 17-2A bi-district playoff game, 25-14, 25-15, 25-10.

“I think nerves got the best of us in our first playoff game in several years,” said Hughes Springs coach Liz McCoy. “Our girls worked very hard and I’m very proud of them.”
