DIERKS, Ark.—One would think Dierks’ offense stole the show, but it was the Outlaws’ defense that stepped up in the second half to earn Dierks the second seed in 7-2A.

The Outlaws’ defense held Mineral Springs scoreless the final two quarters, breaking a close game open with three fourth quarter touchdowns on its way to a 49-27 victory.

Dierks (7-2, 5-1) advances to play Conway Christian, while the Hornets take 7-2A’s third seed into the postseason against Smackover.
