All season long Prescott (8-1, 6-0) coach Greg Smith has stressed one of his team’s goals was to be the top seed in 7-3A because it would mean home field advantage in the playoffs.

Obviously, Smith is not backing off that goal of a 7-3A championship, which can become reality tonight if the Curley Wolves beat unbeaten Rison (9-0, 6-0). However, a quick study of the 3A playoff bracket indicates Prescott could be hosting the highest state-ranked teams.
