GLADEWATER, Texas—New Boston has had plenty of time to prepare for its Class 3A area playoff volleyball match against District 14 champion Eustace.

The Lady Lions (18-13) face the 18th-ranked Lady Bulldogs (28-9) at 5 p.m. today at Gladewater High School. The winner advances to play Princeton (27-15) in the Region II-3A quarterfinals.

Eustace dropped a 5-game warmup match to Scurry-Rosser Monday, the last game finishing 17-15, and New Boston was able to see what it’s up against.
