That was especially the case for the Lions, who were moving up from Class 2A. Senior Cedric Wade established a career-rushing record (1,847 yards) and scored two touchdowns Friday at Harris Field and New Boston claimed a share of the 16-3A title with Pittsburg with a 27-19 win over preseason favorite Liberty-Eylau.
