Despite a losing record (4-6) and fourth place finish in 6A South, the Arkansas High Razorbacks will host Little Rock Parkview (7-3) at 7:30 p.m., Friday, in the opening round of the playoffs.

Eight other area schools will be competing in Friday’s first round action, with 3-time defending state champion Nashville getting a bye in 4A, and Prescott earning a bye in 3A.
