Liberty-Eylau coaches lined up Wednesday at the district’s administration building to congratulate senior Lacey Middlebrooks, who signed a letter of intent to play softball at the University of Minnesota.

Middlebrooks, a three-year standout in volleyball, basketball and softball, has been sidelined her senior season after suffering a serious knee injury in a volleyball match. Her rehab is reportedly ahead of schedule.
