Friends of the late game warden George Whatley will host a benefit trail ride for his family from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The ride begins at the home of Oliver Littlejohn, 5639 County Road 3659 in Queen City, Texas.

Whatley, 45, died of a heart attack after a training exercise in Fort Stockton, Texas.

A chili dinner will be served after the ride. RSVP by today.
