Texas High’s 2008 season was one of rekindled rivalries and rarities, of shock and success.

But in the end the Tigers were in a familiar position—the playoffs for the ninth time in 10 seasons under Barry Norton.

Texas High starts the Division I-4A playoff road tonight at Whitehouse (7-3). Kickoff is set for 7:30 in Wildcat Stadium.

Last February’s biennial University Interscholastic League realignment and redistricting plan changed that playoff route for the Tigers and also left the team with the first 9-game schedule in the Norton era.
