DE QUEEN, Ark.—With a No. 2 seed De Queen versus a No. 5 seed Huntsville a lopsided contest was expected.

The Leopards did just that with a 49-0 victory at Leopard Stadium Friday in the opening round of the Class 4A state football playoffs.

The Eagles finish their season at 2-9.

De Queen (10-1) took command early with three touchdowns in just over 7:00 of play. The Leopards relied on their well-balanced running attack that gained 301 yards, but no rusher finished over the 100-yard mark. Quarterback Zack Taylor led the way with 92 yards.
