Daingerfield’s volleyball team earned the Most Valuable Player award, shared the Co-MVP defensive player of the year and had three girls named to the first or second 17-2A all-district team selected by the coaches.

Kristen LeShaw took MVP honors, and Shiandra Kemp shared the Co-MVP defensive player of the year award with Chapel Hill’s Alyssa Giddens.

Ashley Eaves from Linden-Kildare was selected as the newcomer of the year, and Lady Tiger teammate Lauren Hendrix shared co-most valuable setter honors with Dayna Stanley from Chapel Hill.
