GREENVILLE, Texas—It was an ill wind that blew in the faces of the Tom Bean Tom Cats Saturday at Cotton Ford Stadium.

Paul Pewitt capitalized on short punts into the brisk breeze to score twice in the final two minutes of the first half, then broke it open in the fourth quarter to claim a 44-12 victory in the Region II, Division II bi-district game.

The Brahmas’ ninth straight victory moves them into the area round against Pottsboro, a winner Thursday night over Jacksboro. That game will be played here at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
