GILMER, Texas—New Boston scored all the points it needed in the first eight minutes, and went on to an easy 41-7 victory over Nevada Community in a Region II-2A, Division II area-round Friday at Buckeye Stadium.

The Lions piled up 456 yards rushing with Cedric Wade leading the way with 348 yards and four touchdowns on 26 carries. His scores came on runs of 91, 2, 15 and 40 yards.

New Boston (10-1) advances to play Kaufman (9-3) next week in the regional semfinals.

Community ends its season with a 6-6 mark.
