GREENVILLE, Texas—Pottsboro scored 29 unanswered points and ended Paul Pewitt’s 9-game winning streak and season, 29-15, in a Region II-2A, Division II area-round game at Cotton Ford Stadium.

The Brahmas, District 12 champions, finished the season at 9-3. Pottsboro takes a 11-1 record into next week’s semifinals against Caddo Milles.

Junior fullback D. J. Burleson, who gained 105 yards on 24 carries, put Paul Pewitt ahead on a 3-yard run with 9 minutes left in the opening period. The drive consumed 64 yards in 9 plays.
