LAST WEEK: Hewitt Midway scored three unanswered touchdowns in the fourth quarter, ending Texas High’s season at 9-2 with a 35-10 victory in the Region II-4A area round of the playoffs.

OFFENSIVE STANDOUTS: TB Kody Sutton exited in the first quarter with an ankle injury and did not return. He had 39 yards on 7 carries. His replacement, freshman Travis Turner, gained 50 yards on 15 carries. Sorenson ran 15 times for 46 yards and completed 12 of 25 passes for 133. WR Cobi Hamilton had 6 catches for 44 yards, Peyton Tolliver 3 for 42 and Roderick Collier 2 for 40.
