MAGNOLIA, Ark.—A young Southern Arkansas University women’s basketball team slipped to 1-4 on the season Tuesday, but Texas A&M-Commerce had to work hard for the 85-82 victory.

Britney Jordan fired 34 points, including nine straight to close the game at the W.T. Watson Athletic Center.

The Lady Muleriders Goldie White traded baskets with Jordan throughout the game, finishing with 32 points.

Clarksville freshman Kmaria Hobbs added 18 points and 9 rebounds for SAU, while Krissty Shinn contributed 15 points.
