NASHVILLE, Ark.—It’s hard to imagine there is potential football talent walking the halls at Nashville High School.

Despite being classified in the middle of Arkansas’ six conferences, the Scrappers will have approximately 70 players in uniform for Friday night’s 4A quarterfinal playoff game with Pine Bluff Dollarway. Six-foot, 250-pound senior Chance Stone will not be among that group. He’ll probably be in the stands cheering for his friends and schoolmates.

There’s an even better chance the 17-year-old Stone will be up early Saturday morning to go hunting.
