Pleasant Grove’s basketball team returns an experienced cast and makes a key addition as the Hawks try to build on last year’s success.

After finishing the 2007-08 season tied for second in District 16-3A with crosstown rival Liberty-Eylau, PG fell in its opening playoff game.

“We thought we could go deeper in the playoffs last year, but we ran out of steam towards the end,” said head coach Clay Busby. “We are ready to make a run at the district championship and a deep run in the playoffs.”
