WHITEHOUSE, Texas—Maud ran into an opponent Friday night it hadn’t faced this year—adversity.

And the Cardinals answered in a positive manner, scoring three touchdowns in a span of 3:41 to come from behind and defeat Normangee, 42-22, at Wildcat Stadium.

The top-ranked Cardinals (12-0) next face Cayuga for the Region III-A championship next week. Cayuga defeated Bremond, 35-12, Friday.
