NASHVILLE, Ark.—It would be easy to blame the weather and treacherous surface of the field, but it’s much easier to credit the spectacular play of Dollarway senior Jesse Grandy for the Cardinals’ 16-12 victory Friday at “The Hill.”

Grandy, who is being recruited by several SEC schools, including Arkansas, directed two touchdown drives in the third quarter, and left more than one Nashville receiver on the ground without the ball after vicious hits on defense as Dollarway spoiled any hopes the Scrappers had of winning a fourth straight state championship.
