TEXAS CITY, Texas—The Texarkana Gunslingers open a four-game series against the Bay Area Toros today at 7:05 p.m.

The Toros will host the opening two games before the teams return to Texarkana for the final two of the series, to be played Saturday and Sunday nights at George Dobson Field.

The Slingers and Bay Area are tied for second place with identical records of 17-10, trailing Alexandria by one game in the Continental Baseball League standings.
