Humberto speeds up as it heads north

ORLANDO, Fla. - Tropical Storm Humberto began its trek
north on Saturday, keeping it well off Florida's coast and allowing the state to dodge another
bullet.

As of 5 p.m. EDT, the National Hurricane Center puts the system about 70 miles north of Great Abaco Island
and 105 miles northeast of Freeport on Grand Bahama, and moving north-northwest at 7 mph, but expected to stay well away from Florida this weekend. Sustained winds were 50 mph.

Meanwhile, two more
tropical waves are being tracked by the National Hurricane
Center.
