Name Change?: Should Little Rock airport continue to honor Clintons?

This week, an Arkansas state lawmakers asked constituents if they would support a bill to remove the names of former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Hillary Clinton, from the Little Rock Airport.

State Sen. Jason Rapert, a Republican from the 35th District, posted the question Monday on his Twitter account, adding that "Arkansas does not support them."

The Little Rock National Airport/Adams Field was renamed The Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport/Adams Field in 2012.

We know the Clintons provoke strong emotions, good and bad. Some say we should honor the former president and first lady, if for no other reason than respect for the office. Some say they simply don't deserve the honor.

We want to know what you think. Should the airport's name be changed or remain the same?

Last Week: Black Friday

Our question last week was about the busiest shopping day of the year? Did you hit the stores this year for Black Friday deals? Or did you stay away and avoid the crowds?

  • Stayed away it is not worth what you have to go through to get a deal which many times is only a few dollars off when you can get "Cyber Monday" deals a lot better!
  • Stayed away after working retail for a lot of years just don't have a desire for crowded shopping rather pay full price!
  • Never have shopped on "Black Friday" never will!
  • For the first time in many years, I stayed away.
  • Away.
  • Stayed far, far away!!!
  • Went, although conflicted. I firmly believe part of the problem in America is that we have forgotten God, and therefore forgotten to give Him thanks. This is supposed to be done daily, but we should be able to stop as a country and be thankful at least this ONE time a year. On the other hand, I am part of the country that need the deep discounts and use it generally to buy necessities. It's not just big screen TV's on sale! Everything from warm winter coats and clothes to the pots and pans used daily to cook in are on sale. Last year, needed a new phone. This year, my phone's memory was full and I needed a bigger memory card. Thank you, Black Friday!
