Iran Deal: Was President Trump right to withdraw from international agreement?

President Donald Trump this week announced the U.S. would withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action-a 2015 agreement with China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and Germany to give Iran relief from economic sanctions in return for an agreement to eliminate or reduce enriched uranium stockpiles and cut back its nuclear program to energy needs only for 15 years.

The president said it was a bad deal and that he would re-impose economic sanctions against Iran. Supporters say the plan just delayed the inevitable and gave Iran time and resources to continue covert work on nuclear weapons. Critics say the agreement was working and that Trump has no viable plan to counter Iran's nuclear ambitions once the pact collapses and damaged the U.S.'s credibility in making deals with other nations.

We want to know what you think. Was President Trump right to withdraw from the Iran deal? Or was it a mistake?

Last Week: Peace Prize?

Last week's question was about the idea that President Donald Trump should receive a Nobel Peace Prize for his work to reconcile North and South Korea. Should President Trump receive the Noble Peace Prize? Or are you opposed to the idea?

Nobel Peace Prize? I don't think his bullying of N. Korea will bring peace for long. He and Kim Jung Un are both egotistical maniacs and a danger to all mankind. I will lose ALL respect for committee if this happens.-D.J., Hooks, Texas

Should he receive the Nobel? Not until the does something worthy. Like settle North Korea's nuclear threats, and when he proves that Mexico pays for the WALL. It's a little early to award him the Nobel Peace Prize, in my opinion.-B.J., Texarkana, Texas

It is for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and promotion of peace. A huge expansion of the military, recklessly threatening fire and fury and destroying populations, killing terrorists family members and promoting torture is the opposite of peace in the old reality. A dictator's pawn? Yes.-J.W., Texarkana, Texas

Donald Trump is the last person that deserves to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. That man cannot even spell the word peace. The man is a disgrace to the office he holds. His title should be "bully in chief". Trump has done NOTHING to promote peace.-M.B., Texarkana, Texas

No award should go to a man that is divisive, contentious, and thrives on chaos. Would be an insult to those who strive for peaceful solutions.-J.B., Texarkana, Ark.

  •  Lolololol
  •  Yes he does.
  •  I am opposed to it. That's all that I will say in the matter.
  •  Yes.
  •  Sure. If there is a peace treaty and denuclearization. Otherwise, no.
