Streaming Services? | How many are you willing to pay for?

The recent launch of Walt Disney Company's new streaming service, Disney+, adds one more subscription channel in a world where "cutting the cord" from traditional cable or satellite TV services has become more and more common.

AppleTV+ just launched. NBC's Peacock is due out in April. HBO Max is coming in May. And those are just a few. The new networks are promoting original programming and their own film and TV libraries.

They are also paying a lot of money to scoop up the rights to all sorts of popular programs and films.

Some save money by switching to streaming TV. But some critics wonder if the proliferation of so many "must-have" subscription-based providers will lead to consumers paying pretty much the same as they would with traditional cable or satellite TV providers. If you have three favorite TV shows, for example, you may soon find you need three separate paid subscriptions to see them.

We want to know what you think. How many paid streaming services do you subscribe to? Is there a limit on how many such services you would pay for?

Last Week: Black Friday?

Last week's question was about Black Friday shopping. Did you go out and brave the crowds on Black Friday? Or did you stay far away?

From www.facebook.com/texarkanagazette

No and yes.

Went to work that day but have never gone Black Friday shopping anyway. Far too many people for me.

I went after the mob thinned out. I did the online shopping.

Far, far away.

Stayed home!

Only to breakfast and the grocery store.

I shopped online for a TV on Wednesday and waited until late Friday afternoon and everything I wanted was still there.

I don't leave the house on Black Friday. I did participate in Small Business Saturday in Downtown Atlanta.

Stayed home!

Online shopping is all I do now. No way I'm walking in a store on Black Friday again.

Stayed home and shopped online.

Shopped all night and till noon on Friday.

Stayed away!

In Walmart at 5:45 and out by 6:30. NB was not near as busy as Txk and everyone was so pleasant.

No, always stay home on Black Friday

Did not go this year

Just buy it when I want it

Shopped online.

Stayed home.
