MANHATTAN, Kan.-Wesley Iwundu scored 22 points, freshman reserve Dean Wade had 17 and Kansas State upset top-ranked Oklahoma, 80-69, on Saturday night to shake up the Big 12 race once again.

D.J. Johnson added 12 points and Justin Edwards 11 for the Wildcats (14-9, 3-7), who snapped the Sooners' four-game win streak by holding in check player of the year front-runner Buddy Hield.

The high-scoring guard had 23 points, but a big chunk came in the final minutes, when the Sooners (19-3, 7-3) were desperately trying to rally against a team that wouldn't budge an inch.

Notre Dame 80,
No. 2 North Carolina 76

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-Demetrius Jackson scored 19 points, Bonzie Colson had 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Notre Dame rallied to beat No. 2 North Carolina 80-76 on Saturday night.

It was the second straight loss for the Tar Heels (19-4, 8-2 Atlantic Coast Conference).

The Irish used an 11-2 run to tie it at 48 on a basket by Jackson with 12:23 left, and the game was close the rest of the way. The Tar Heels closed to 77-76 on a pair of free throws by Marcus Paige with 32 seconds left. But Jackson made a pair of free throws and Steve Vasturia added another to help the Irish hold on.

Zach Auguste added 15 points for the Irish (16-7, 7-4).

Paige broke out of a six-game shooting slump, finishing with 21 points. Brice Johnson had 14 points and 14 rebounds for North Carolina.

Purdue led 51-47 with 5:58 left before Carter hit a 3-pointer to spark a 9-0 run that put the Terrapins ahead for good.

A three-point play by Sulaimon with 1:23 to go made it 61-53, at which point the raucous sellout crowd of 17,950 could finally relax.

Carter went 7 for 10 from the field and made all four of Maryland's 3-pointers.

No. 23 Arizona 77,
Washington 72

SEATTLE-Ryan Anderson scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, Kadeem Allen hit a 3-pointer with 1:01 left as the shot clock expired and No. 23 Arizona held on for a 77-72 win over Washington on Saturday.

Anderson was a force on the inside, making 6 of 12 shots and hitting 10 of 11 free throws, and Allen's big shot gave the Wildcats a 75-70 lead. It was just his second basket of the game after missing his first six shots.

Andrew Andrews hit a pair of free throws for Washington, but Anderson came up with an offensive rebound after Gabe York missed a jumper with 23 seconds remaining. Anderson hit both free throws and the Wildcats were able to escape.

No. 20 Kentucky 80, Florida 61

LEXINGTON, Ky.-Jamal Murray scored a career-high 35 points, and No. 20 Kentucky beat Florida 80-61 on Saturday.

The Wildcats (17-6, 7-3 Southeastern Conference) ended a rare two-game losing streak while improving to 15-0 at home.

Murray also made a career-best eight of Kentucky's season-high 12 3-pointers. He set the tone for the blowout with 20 points in the first half.

Tyler Ulis had 18 points for the Wildcats, and Derek Willis finished with 12.

Villanova 72, Providence 60

PROVIDENCE, R.I.-Darryl Reynolds had 19 points and 10 rebounds and third-ranked Villanova held off a late rally to defeat No. 11 Providence 72-60 on Saturday.

The win avenges Villanova's overtime loss at home to the Friars last month, its lone Big East loss this season.

Ryan Arcidiacono added 16 points to help the Wildcats (20-3, 10-1) earn their 12th victory in 13 games.

Villanova led by as many as 17 in the second half before seeing its lead cut all the way to four with 2:59 to play on a 3-pointer by Ben Bentil.

No. 10 Michigan State 89, Michigan 73

ANN ARBOR, Mich.-Bryn Forbes scored 23 of his 29 points in the first half, part of an early barrage of 3-pointers by No. 10 Michigan State in an 89-73 rout of rival Michigan on Saturday.

Forbes made seven of the Spartans' 10 3-pointers in the half, and Michigan State finished 14 of 22 from beyond the arc. Long known for their rebounding and physicality, the Spartans (20-4, 7-4 Big Ten) have now made 47 3-pointers in their last three games. They beat Northwestern and Rutgers by a combined 65 points and the game against Michigan (17-7, 7-4) wasn't too competitive, either.

The Wolverines were without Caris LeVert, who missed a 10th straight game with a lower left leg injury. Zak Irvin led Michigan with 19 points.

No. 19 Louisville 79,
Boston College 47

LOUISVILLE, Ky.-Trey Lewis scored 16 points and Deng Adel added 13 as No. 19 Louisville routed Boston College 79-47 on Saturday, a day after the school imposed a postseason ban for recruiting violations.

The Cardinals (19-4, 8-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) followed up Monday's upset of No. 2 North Carolina with a lopsided win despite uneven stretches. The absence of leading scorer Damion Lee (bruised knee) impacted their rotation, but plenty of teammates stepped up to fill the void.

Several baskets by Lewis midway through the second half help spark a 10-0 run that got Louisville back out to a comfortable lead en route to keeping the Eagles (7-16, 0-10) winless in league play.

No. 9 Virginia 64, Pittsburgh 50

PITTSBURGH-Malcolm Brogdon scored 21 points and No. 9 Virginia pulled away from Pittsburgh in the second half of a 64-50 victory on Saturday.

London Perrantes added 14 for the Cavaliers (19-4, 8-3 ACC), who have won six straight and remain unbeaten (4-0) against the Panthers since Pitt moved to the ACC in 2013. Virginia took control after the Panthers tied it early in the second half, knocking down three straight 3-pointers during a game-turning 12-0 run.

Jamel Artis led Pitt (17-5, 6-4) with 17 points and Michael Young had 12 points and 10 rebounds but the Panthers again struggled to keep up with a quality opponent. All five of Pitt's losses have come by at least 13 points.

Virginia outscored the Panthers 28-14 in the paint and converted 11 Pitt turnovers into 20 points the other way.

The Jayhawks (19-4, 7-3 Big 12) had lost their previous three conference road games. They never trailed after scoring the game's first seven points.

With the quick start and in a road arena about half-filled with their own fans, the Jayhawks won for the 12th time in 13 games against TCU (10-13, 1-9). The Horned Frogs' only victory in the series came exactly three years ago Saturday, when they won in the Big 12 for the first time.

Devonte Graham added 15 points for the Jayhawks, who shot 50 percent from the field (29 of 58) and had a 46-25 rebounding advantage.

The Musketeers (21-2, 9-2 Big East) have won five in a row and six of seven against the Golden Eagles (15-9, 4-7), who led throughout the second half before Macura led Xavier's comeback. He had back-to-back 3s that put Xavier ahead to stay with 2:55 to go.

Trevon Bluiett had 23 points and a career-high eight assists. Edmond Sumner had 20 points, 15 in the first half.

The Golden Eagles had three straight turnovers down the stretch, helping Xavier hold on. Henry Ellenson led Marquette with 22 points, and Haanif Cheatham added 21. The Golden Eagles had a 35-27 edge on the boards, only the second time Xavier has been outrebounded.
