The Texarkana Twins held a 7-0 lead over the Texas Marshals before lightning caused the postponement of the game with one out in the top of the fifth in a Texas Collegiate League baseball game Friday at George Dobson
Field.

The Twins and Marshals will resume play in the top of the fifth today at 5:30 p.m. and will finish nine innings. A 7-inning game will follow the completion of the postponed
game.

Twins' starting pitcher Trey Jeans retired the side in order in the top of the first on a flyout, and two groundouts.

Casey Mack tripled with one out for the Marshals in the second, but Jeans worked his way out of the
inning.

Alex Rodriguez went yard to left field in the second for Texarkana's first run of the game.

Johnny Gonzalez smacked a 2-run triple to right center, but was caught off the bag on third after his momentum pulled him off.

The Twins took a 3-0 lead into the top of the third.

Rodriguez smacked a one-run single to left center in the third to score Troy Black, who had singled up the middle to give Texarkana a 4-0 lead.

Kyle Bottger smashed a 3-run home run as the Twins took command of the game 7-0 in the third.
