New Boston senior Madison Thomas was a unanimous selection as the Most Valuable Player by the league coaches on the 14-3A all-district volleyball team.

Arts Center School Sale
The students from the Arkansas Arts Center Museum School host a sale of their art pieces on Saturday, November 17.
Paul Pewitt junior Brelee Lawings was named the Offensive MVP, and teammate Peyton Hawkins, also a junior, was the Newcomer of the Year.
Hooks had a pair of freshmen pick up superlative awards. Libero Emma Farquhar was the Defensive MVP, and Lexie Frachiseur was the Most Valuable Blocker on the all-district team.
New Boston senior Hannah Burnett and junior McKenzee Thomas were selected to the all-district first team, McKenzee Thomas a unanimous choice. Paul Pewitt junior Lydia Makowiecki was also a unanimous selection to the first team.
Other first-team selections included Hooks junior Kenley Kyles, QUeen City senior Mackenzie Hozdic, Daingerfield senior Camryn Byrd, Redwater senior Kelsey Harris and Hughes Springs sophomore Zoe Lanier.
