Texas High battled windy conditions and a strong field of teams to earn a seven-shot victory on Monday at the 43rd annual Lobo Invitational Golf Tournament held at Pinecrest Country Club.
The Tigers, paced by a third-place individual finish from Austin Pinkham-(75), turned in a 318 team total. District 15-5A counterpart Hallsville was second with a 325, followed by Pleasant Grove at 330, Trinity School of Texas at 332 and the host Lobos at 338 to round out the top five.
Hallsville's Chase Baxter and Trinity School of Texas' Watson Hill finished regulation play at 73, with Baxter earning top medalist honors on the second playoff hole.
