COACHES' COMMENTS: Greenville's Duke-"Last year we didn't show up early, but played well late. I think we can match up with Texas Hig's size better than we did against Marshall. Texas High will be the most athletic team we faced this season, the Hampton kid maybe being the fastest kid in our district. We've got to try to keep the ball out of his hands."

Texas High's Barry Norton-"Greenville has a new coaching staff and they're in a phase where they're trying to get things changed. They've had some struggles throughout the year, but the kids are playing hard. It's not unusual to see a team struggled when going through a coaching change. Greenville has nothing to lose, and I think we'll see their best effort. They've got a lot of young kids playing. There's a chance we'll see all the tricks they have and we've got to be prepared for everything."

"I want to see my team play faster football these final weeks. I'm talking about getting more snaps. I want to see us get the ball in the air a little bit more, and be more aggressive with what we're doing. I want us to play faster on defense. That's been the message this week. We're still trying to be the best team we can be. I don't think we have the last two or three weeks."
