CANTON, Texas-Pleasant Grove shot a two-day 823 to place eighth in the Region II-4A golf tournament that concluded Thursday at the Zan Zandt Country Club course.
The Lady Hawks shot rounds of of 420 and 403 in the two-day event. Mabank won with a 715 total, followed by Spring Hill (749) and Bridgeport (753).
Hannah Haltom paced Pleasant Grove with a 155 score (80-75), followed by Allison Jones 203 (102-101), Kaylee Jones 220 (109-111) and Tori Bean 245 (129, 116).
Atlanta was led by Jennifer Bridges with 213 (107-106) and Rebecca Rinehart 219 (110-109).
Spring Hill's Zoe Mayfield took medalist honors with rounds of 72 and 77 for a 149 total. Frisco Lebanon Trail's Olivia Mitchell was second with a 153 total and Bridgeport's Brooke Irion with a 154.
