Redwater Spikers' Classic volleyball tournament opens today

REDWATER, Texas-Twelve teams open up play in the Redwater Spikers' Classic volleyball tournament today at the new and old Dragon
Gyms.
Liberty-Eylau, Linden Kildare, Queen City and Chapel Hill are in Pool A. Competing in Pool B are Mount Vernon, Paul Pewitt, James Bowie and Hughes Springs. Redwater, Columbia Christian, Maud and Atlanta are in Pool C.
In the old gym, Liberty-Eylau takes on Linden Kildare at 8 a.m., Queen City goes up against Chapel Hill at 9 a.m., and L-E plays Queen City at 10 a.m.
Linden Kildare and Chapel Hill follow at 11 a.m., Liberty-Eylau faces Chapel Hill at noon, and L-K and Queen City finish the action in the old gym at 1 p.m.
In the new gym, Mount Vernon plays Paul Pewitt at 8 a.m. and is followed by James Bowie and Hughes Springs. At 10 a.m., Mount Vernon goes up against James Bowie, Paul Pewitt and Hughes Springs battle at 11, Mount Vernon takes a shot at Hughes Springs at noon, and Paul Pewitt takes on James Bowie at
1 p.m.
The action in the new gym continues with Redwater and Columbia Christian at 2, Maud and Atlanta follow, and Redwater clashes with Maud at 4. Atlanta, who plays Columbia Christian at 5, turns around and plays Redwater at 6. And the last match of the day is Columbia Christian versus Maud at 7 p.m.
