MARSHALL, Texas-Liberty-Eylau extended its win streak to 10 in a row with three wins in the Marshall/ETBU volleyball tournament
Thursday.
The Lady Leopards (10-1) beat Harmony, Marshall and Center in pool play.
In L-E's 25-16, 25-20 win over Harmony, Derrica Henderson served 11 winners, had five kills and four blocks. Kaliyah Thompson and Daycoria Meadows added five kills and five digs each, and Taylor Crabtree had 12 service receptions.
In the Leopards' 30-29, 25-22, victory over the host Lady Mavs, Amoiya Gentry and Meadows each swatted seven kills, Gentry adding seven points. Mariah Coleman had 10 digs, and Crabtree 15 serve-receives and five digs.
Liberty-Eylau was once again led by Henderson in its 25-12, 25-19 win over Center. Henderson had 10 points, five kills and three blocks. Thompson and Keeley Norris contributed five kills each, Meadows served eight winners, and Kelly Cigainero had seven points and 12 assists.
