Pleasant Grove (13-0) kept its undefeated season intact with a dominating win over Celina, and will next face stiff competition in the 4A state quarterfinals against Melissa (12-1), which just knocked off Gilmer, at 7 p.m. Friday at Wildcat Stadium in Paris, Texas.
On the Arkansas side, Foreman (11-1) got a week off after its opponent Earle was removed from the playoffs after self-reporting the use of an ineligible player, and will now host Salem (7-5) in the Class 2A semifinal round on Friday at 7 p.m.
