Hughes Springs, Hooks lead the way on 14-3A All-District team

Hughes Springs was well represented on the 14-3A All-District team with four superlatives and one first-team selection, while Hooks added five first-
teamers.

Hughes Springs junior Riley McKinney was selected as Player of the Year.

Hughes Springs junior Bo McEntire was selected as Offensive MVP.

Queen City senior Ray Cook was chosen as the Defensive MVP.

Hughes Springs sophomore Brady McEntire was selected as Pitcher of the
Year.

Hughes Springs sophomore Triston Hickey was chosen as the Newcomer of the
Year.

Queen City's David Kennedy and Hughes Springs' Brandon Green were selected as Co-Coach of the
Year.

For Hooks, sophomore Connor Price, senior Blake Starrett, senior Dylan Pool, senior Seth Mahar, freshman Marquis Estell and senior Ty Wilsford were first-team selections.

Queen City senior Kyle Parker and senior Robert Hill were first teamers.

DeKalb senior Colby Pennington and sophomore Tristen Jamison were selected to the first-team.

New Boston senior Phillip Sissons and junior Jake Bobbitt were chosen to the all-district first team.

Redwater senior Jamey Vaitkus and junior Seth Lathrop were first-team selections.

Hughes Springs junior Harrison Reagan rounded out the selections to the first-team.
